2024년형 폭스바겐 아틀라스와 아틀라스 크로스 스포츠는 시카고 오토쇼에서 공개했습니다. 이번에는 외부 디자인이 정비되며 내부와 결합되어 더욱 완성도 높은 모습을 선보였는데요.

The 2024 Volkswagen Atlas and Atlas Cross Sports were unveiled at the Chicago Auto Show. This time, the exterior design was overhauled and combined with the interior to show a more complete look.
In addition, some powertrains will be replaced, and Volkswagen says the 2.0 litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine will be the only engine option. The partial change of Atlas is the second of Atlas' first introduced in 2017, and will be the first part of the five-seater cross-sport introduced in the U.S. market in 2020.
The upgraded four-cylinder engine offers 269 horsepower and 273 pounds of torque, and can expect zero-back performance, which is about 0.5 seconds faster than the previous model.
With the design applied this time, the front fascia has been changed to a side air inlet, and the Coupe-type Atlas Cross Sports has a unique application of glossy black trim details to show a more refined look.
In addition, a new wheel design is available, with options ranging from 18 inches to 21 inches. The 21-inch wheel is exclusively available on the R-line. Atlas Cross Sports features a special rear diffuser to highlight a sporty look.

Atlas' design updates continue on the rear as well as the front. The tail lamps on the rear are interconnected on top of the chrome bar for visual updates and provide front-like updates on all trims except the primary trim, in that the LED bar and the Illuminated logo are applied.
Coupe-type Atlas Cross Sports also features glossy black trim details and a special rear diffuser, which is expected to complement the design of the existing Atlas and provide a more modern and stylish look.
The 2024 Volkswagen Atlas is equipped with an intelligent driver support system (ADAS).The drive package is standard for semi-automatic driving. Optional features include Adaptive Cruise Control and Head Up Display.
With the elimination of the 6-cylinder engine option, the 2024 Atlas will carry only one 4-cylinder powertrain. The new turbocharged 2.0L TSI engine has a maximum output of 273 horsepower, 34 horsepower higher than the existing model, and only about 7 horsepower lower than the 3.6 VR6 model.
The new engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and is said to be powered by either a front wheel or a 4Motion four-wheel drive system. The 2024 Volkswagen Atlas and Atlas Cross Sports are set to be released in the third quarter of 2023, and prices will be announced
